Dill Borscht Recipe
Borscht is a healthy, cherished dish from cultures around the world. Today I am going to share my twist on a classic version.
1lb meat
4 tbs oil
4 carrots grated
1 clove minced garlic
1 med onion chopped
3 beets
2 stalks celery chopped
1 can Canelli or your favorite beans
4 medium potatoes cubed
.5 head grated cabbage
1 tbs salt
1 tsp pepper
1.5 tbs apple cider vinegar
2 diced tomatoes
1 sprig of dill, or parsley, to decorate

1. Take 1lb of your favorite meat. And slice into 2 inch cubes. In a large pot bring 4.5 quarts of water to a boil. cook for 20 minutes.
2. Sauté onions, beets, and carrots celery, garlic, carefully add to pot
​
3. Dain and rinse beans. Add to pot. cook for 20 minutes

4. Add potatoes, cook 15 minutes
​
5. Add cabbage, vinegar, tomatoes, salt and pepper cook 10 minutes

6. Serve with a garnish of sheep/goat yogurt/sour cream and dill or parsley.
